To share information, you can forward messages from a chat to another.

If you forward more than one message, you can choose to either forward each message singly or forward the messages as one message.

Mobile

• On your mobile device, open the SeaTalk app.
• Tap the chat with messages to forward.
• Tap and hold the message you want to forward. A menu will appear.
• Tap Forward.
• To add on other messages, tap them.
• If you selected more than one message, tap an option:
• One-by-One Forward: forward each message one by one. The messages will appear to be sent by you to the recipient.
• Combine and Forward: forward all messages together. They will be sent as one Chat History message and recipients can view who sent the original messages.

• Select the chat you want to forward the messages to. You can:
• Tap New Chat to create a new chat.
• Tap Group Chat to select an existing group chat.
• Tap Announcements to select a channel.
• Tap a recent chat.
• Tap Send. The messages will be sent to your selected chat. You can continue to select and send the messages to another chat.

Desktop

• In the SeaTalk desktop application, click the chat with messages to forward.
• Right-click the message and select Forward.
• To forward more messages to the same chat, click the messages.
• At the bottom, select an option:
• Forward: forward each message one by one. The messages will appear to be sent by you to the recipient.
• Combine and Forward: forward all messages together. They will be sent as one Chat History message and recipients can view who sent the original messages.
• In the dialog box, select the chats you want to forward the messages to. You can:
• Click My Friends to select a friend.
• Click Group Chats to select an existing group chat.
• Click Announcements to select a channel.
• Click a recent chat.
• View the chats you're forwarding to on the right.
• Once confirmed, click Forward. The messages will be sent to your selected chats.
