In SeaTalk, you can call a contact to have real time conversation. This will use up your mobile data if you’re not connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Call a contact

• On your mobile device, open the SeaTalk app.
• At the bottom, tap Contacts.
• Tap the contact you want to call.
• Tap Call and the call will begin. You can add others by tapping the icon in the upper right.

Call a group

• On your mobile device, open the SeaTalk app.
• Tap the chat group you want to make a call to.
• Tap the + icon.
• Tap Call.
• Select members in the group you want to call.
• Tap OK and the call will begin. You can add more members by tapping the icon in the upper right.

Call statuses

If the call doesn’t go through, you’ll see a status in the chat that explains why.

• User is in another call: the contact is in another call.
• User cannot be reached: the contact is not logged in to any mobile device.
• Call declined: the contact rejected your call.
• User didn’t answer the call: the contact didn’t respond to your call.
