In a chat, you may want to quote and reply to a specific message. This will help make it clear what you’re specifically responding to.

You can reply to messages in a chat group or in a one-to-one chat.

Mobile

• On your mobile device, open the SeaTalk app.
• Tap the chat you want to reply to.
• Swipe left on the message you want to reply to.
• The message will appear above your message field. Enter your reply in the message field.
• Tap Send. Your message will be sent, with the original message you swiped above for context.

Desktop

• In the SeaTalk desktop application, click the chat you want to reply to.
• Hover over the message you want to reply to and click the ” icon to its right.
• That message will appear above your message field. Enter your reply in the message field.
• Click Send. Your message will be sent, with the original message you replied to above for context.
