SeaTalk currently does not support exporting or backing up chat history. However, you can transfer chat history between your mobile and desktop versions of SeaTalk.

Syncing Between Devices
You can sync chat history:
- From mobile to desktop, or
- From desktop to mobile.
Prerequisites
- Ensure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Log into the same SeaTalk account on both devices.
- Do not use the apps during the transfer. The process may take a few minutes.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- In the SeaTalk desktop application, click the Settings icon in the bottom left.
- Select Message Sync.
- Select Sync to Desktop to transfer from mobile to desktop. Select Sync to Mobile to transfer from desktop to mobile.
- Your mobile device will prompt you to allow the sync.
- On your mobile device, open the SeaTalk app and tap Start Sync. This will start the transfer.
During the Sync
- You can stop the transfer by tapping Stop transfer or tapping X on your mobile device. You can also stop it from your desktop by clicking Stop.
- The transfer will continue even if you take voice calls on your desktop.
- Messages already transferred will be saved even if the sync is stopped midway.
Completing the Transfer
Once the sync is finished:
- Tap OK on your mobile device.
- Click OK in the desktop app.
Your chat history is now synced between your SeaTalk mobile and desktop apps.
