When you send a message, you can check if your recipient has received the message and if they have already read the message.

View message status

In a one to one chat, view the ticks beside the message you’ve sent to understand its status:

• One green tick: the recipient has not received the message.
• Two green ticks: the recipient received the message.
• Two blue ticks: the recipient read the message.

In a group chat, view the ticks beside the message you’ve sent to understand its status:

• One green tick: not all recipients have received the message.
• Two green ticks: all recipients received the message.
• Two blue ticks: all recipients read the message.

View message information

You can view the full recipient information for group chats and understand specifically the members who have received or read the message.

Mobile

• On your mobile device, open the SeaTalk app.
• Tap the chat group with the message information you want to check.
• Tap and hold the message you want to check.
• Tap Info.
• View the members who haven’t received, who have received, and who have seen your message.

Desktop

• In the SeaTalk desktop application, click the chat group with the message information you want to check.
• Right-click the message you want to check and select Info.
• In the dialog box, view the members who haven’t received, who have received, and who have seen your message.
