Reply to a specific message
In a chat, you may want to quote and reply to a specific message. This will help make it clear what you’re specifically responding to.
You can reply to messages in a chat group or in a one-to-one chat.
Mobile
- On your mobile device, open the SeaTalk app.
- Tap the chat you want to reply to.
- Swipe left on the message you want to reply to.
- The message will appear above your message field. Enter your reply in the message field.
- Tap Send. Your message will be sent, with the original message you swiped above for context.
Desktop
- In the SeaTalk desktop application, click the chat you want to reply to.
- Hover over the message you want to reply to and click the ” icon to its right.
- That message will appear above your message field. Enter your reply in the message field.
- Click Send. Your message will be sent, with the original message you replied to above for context.
