Search across your chat history, contacts, groups, and announcements, and view the sorted results in one place.

Please note: private organizations you're not part of will not appear in the search results.

Mobile

• On your phone, open the SeaTalk app.
• On your navigation bar, tap Chats.
• In the search box at the top, enter your search term.
• The global results will be shown below, with your search term highlighted in blue. Tap the tabs to filter the results further:
• All: include all results.
• Contacts: only include contacts.
• Announcements: only includes announcements.
• Group: only include group names.
• Chat History: only include messages in your chats.
• Once you've found a search result you want, tap the result to view more information.

Desktop

• In the SeaTalk desktop application, click the Chat icon in the left panel.
• In the upper left, enter your search terms in the search box.
• In the popup box, the global search results will be displayed with your search term highlighted in blue. Click the tabs to filter the results further:
• All: include all results.
• Contacts: only include contacts.
• Announcements: only includes announcements.
• Group: only include group names.
• Chat History: only include messages in your chats.
• Once you've found a search result you want, click the result to view more information.
