Take attendance automatically
After you turn on automatic attendance taking, the SeaTalk mobile app will automatically clock in and out for you as long as:
- The SeaTalk app is open on your device;
- You’re sharing your location with the app; and
- You’re at the location specified by your admins.
To turn on automatic attendance taking:
- On your mobile device, open the SeaTalk app.
- At the bottom, tap Discover.
- Tap Attendance.
- Tap the gear button in the top right corner.
Please note: if there’s no gear button, your admins have disabled the ability to take attendance automatically. You must clock in and out manually.
- To allow automatic clock-ins, toggle the Auto Clock In switch on.
- To allow automatic clock-outs, toggle the Auto Clock Out switch on.
- In the upper right, tap Rules to understand better how the automated attendance taking works.
