When your attendance is recorded wrongly for some reason, you can always request for a correction.
Request for correction
- On your mobile device, open the SeaTalk app.
- At the bottom, tap Discover.
- Tap Attendance. You can view your recent records.
- To request corrections for other records, tap Calendar and tap any specific day you want to view.
- For any abnormal records, tap Apply for Correction.
- View and confirm the date and original record result.
- Tap Corrected to and select the date and time the record should show. Tap Done.
- Enter the reasons behind the correction.
- To provide images or documents to substantiate your request, tap the + icon and select the file you want to add.
- At the bottom, tap Apply for Correction. Your request will be sent to the appropriate approver for approval.
View and edit correction requests
- On your mobile device, open the SeaTalk app.
- At the bottom, tap Discover.
- Tap Attendance. You can view your recent records.
- To view other records, tap Calendar and tap any specific day you want to view.
- Under the record you requested corrections for, tap View Correction. You can view the colleagues who are required to approve your correction request.
- To contact them, tap the colleague’s display image and select if you want to view their profile, message them, or call them.
- To attach new images or documents, tap the + icon and select the file you want to add.
- To withdraw your request, tap Withdraw at the bottom.
